There is volume there outside in the large music world, which seems to have so correctly registered nobody with us somehow still. That is very unfortunate, because Marvelous 3 one, my opinion should zollen after, little more attention. And in order to make the three in Germany more popular a little, we shrank from no troubles and maintained us at the telephone with singer Butch Walker, which was to that 9,9,99 straight in a hotel in Pittsburgh. Here now our discussion:
A: Which music do you like?
B: I like totally different music. Rather skirt ` n roll, but actually I can gain from nearly all something. There are so many good of volume there outside.
A: Did you have Idole?
B: That is difficult. There there are already many, although I would not say Idole to it. But I find Prince already mad, in addition KISS, Cheap trick, Queen and Moertley Crue.
A: Is there CD, of which you would say, it your life changed?
B: Hmm, the first KISS.
A: Now to your music: is there a Song on your CD, which pleases you particularly well?
B: (considered are enough) I do not know, I believe "Vampires in Love".
A: Do you write the Songs alone?
B: Yes, the majority. The Lyrics is of me and also most music. Our Songs develops without guitar. The other volume members klimpern around, and a Song develops. With me it develops in the head, and I must convert it then later on guitar.
A: How would you describe your music?
B: Melodic but hard.
A: When do you write your Lyrics? Are they importantly for you or only one part of the music?
B: Often texts develop, if I am with the car on the way or on route, if I am driven. They are very important to me and take a large part of the Songs.
A: The Song "Freak OF The Week" acts of image, clothes, to look cool to be... as importantly is good you (yours) image and?
B: This Song is auto+biographic. It concerns to be a victim to be individual different than all different to be. Image is already importantly however one may not it also overestimate.
A: How are do you admit in the USA?
B: They love us!
A: How would you describe yourself?
B: I at the hard but I to sweet. Yes, I think hard and sweet just like my music.
A: When do you have to make begun music?
B: Already very early. I already after-played and in Talentshows took part in the music of KISS in the primary school
A: From where does the name Marvelous 3 come?
B: I sat with a friend in bar we had a Gig planned however no names for the volume. We sat rum, us drunk and about a name thought. It pleased us so correctly however nothing. He meant sometime: "that stuff sounds marvelous", and I thought: ", that is it!". In addition we are three, thus Marvelous 3.
A: What did you dream tonight?
B: I am said, straight, like on route and in the bus slept and in the dream hoped that we do not have an accident.
A: What can one expect from Marvelous 3 in the future?
B: I think, we next year to Germany will come. I look forward to see Europe.
A: Do you have still another Message to our readers?
B: Yes, buys our plates!
The plate of Marvelous 3 is called "Hey! Album "and appeared with eastwest in the late summer. On it are 12 potential hits, which partly a little to the Posies or also at 3 Colours talk remind. One can only wish these volumes that success in this country adjusts itself also soon. They have things in addition in each case, because they are genuinly Marvelous highly 3!

Es gibt eine Band da draußen in der großen Musikwelt, die bei uns irgendwie noch niemand so richtig registriert zu haben scheint. Das ist sehr schade, denn Marvelous 3 sollte man, meiner Meinung nach, schon ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit zollen. Und um die drei in Deutschland ein bisschen populärer zu machen, haben wir keine Mühen gescheut und uns am Telefon mit Sänger Butch Walker unterhalten, der an jenem 9.9.99 gerade in einem Hotel in Pittsburgh war. Hier nun unser Gespräch:
A: Welche Musik magst Du?
B: Ich mag total verschiedene Musik. Eher Rock `n Roll, aber eigentlich kann ich fast allem etwas abgewinnen. Es gibt so viele gute Bands da draußen.
A: Hattest Du Idole?
B: Das ist schwierig. Da gibt es schon viele, obwohl ich nicht Idole dazu sagen würde. Aber Prince finde ich schon toll, außerdem KISS, Cheap Trick, Queen und Mörtley Crue.
A: Gibt es eine CD, von der Du sagen würdest, sie hat Dein Leben verändert?
B: Hmm, die erste KISS.
A: Nun zu Deiner Musik: gibt es einen Song auf eurer CD, der Dir besonders gut gefällt?
B: (überlegt lange) Ich weiß nicht, ich glaube "Vampires In Love".
A: Schreibst Du die Songs alleine?
B: Ja, den Großteil. Die Lyrics sind von mir und auch die meiste Musik. Unsere Songs entstehen ohne Gitarre. Die anderen Bandmitglieder klimpern herum, und es entsteht ein Song. Bei mir entsteht er im Kopf, und ich muss ihn dann später auf Gitarre umsetzen.
A: Wie würdest Du Deine Musik beschreiben?
B: Melodic but hard.
A: Wann schreibst Du Deine Lyrics? Sind sie wichtig für Dich oder nur ein Teil der Musik?
B: Oft entstehen Texte, wenn ich mit dem Auto unterwegs bin oder auf Tour, wenn ich gefahren werde. Sie sind mir sehr wichtig und nehmen einen großen Teil der Songs ein.
A: Der Song "Freak Of The Week" handelt von Image, Kleidung, cool zu sein...Wie wichtig ist Dir (Dein) Image und gut auszusehen? B: Dieser Song ist autobiographisch. Es geht darum, ein Opfer zu sein, individuell zu sein, anders als alle anderen zu sein. Image ist schon wichtig aber man darf es auch nicht überbewerten.
A: Wie bekannt seid ihr in den USA?
B: Sie lieben uns!
A: Wie würdest Du Dich selbst beschreiben?

A: Wann hast Du angefangen Musik zu machen?
B: Schon sehr früh. Ich habe schon in der Grundschule die Musik von KISS nachgespielt und bei Talentshows mitgemacht.
A: Woher kommt der Name Marvelous 3?
B: Ich saß mit einem Freund in einer Bar. Wir hatten einen Gig geplant aber keinen Namen für die Band. Wir saßen rum, haben uns betrunken und über einen Namen nachgedacht. Es hat uns aber nichts so richtig gefallen. Irgendwann meinte er: "that stuff sounds marvelous", und ich dachte: "ja, das ist es!". Außerdem sind wir drei, also Marvelous 3.
A: Was hast Du heute Nacht geträumt?
B: Ich bin, wie gesagt, gerade auf Tour und habe im Bus geschlafen und im Traum gehofft, dass wir keinen Unfall haben.
A: Was kann man von Marvelous 3 in der Zukunft erwarten?
B: Ich denke, wir werden nächstes Jahr nach Deutschland kommen. Ich freue mich darauf, Europa zu sehen.
A: Hast Du noch eine Message an unsere Leser?
B: Ja, kauft unsere Platten!
Die Platte von Marvelous 3 heißt "Hey! Album" und ist im Spätsommer bei eastwest erschienen. Auf ihr befinden sich 12 potentielle Hits, die teilweise ein bisschen an die Posies oder auch an 3 Colours Red erinnern. Man kann dieser Band nur wünschen, dass sich der Erfolg hierzulande auch bald einstellt. Das Zeug dazu haben sie in jedem Fall, denn sie sind echt Marvelous hoch 3!
