If you get the chance, look at the links at the bottom of the page!!! They are pretty interesting and well worth the time spent!!!

Well, Jill is back at school in Ashland... She is starting her Junior year and I couldn't be more proud of her!!! I had a long talk with her one night and we talked about the little things that were bothering us. I was so happy that we resolved some of our issues and we are officially back together!!! She is so patient! I think that she knew we would get back together because she put these quotes on her webpage...

FAVORITE QUOTES:

"Happiness isn't so much getting what you want...but wanting what you have"

"Love is like a butterfly...the more you chase it, the faster it flies away; leave it alone, and it will one day land on you unexpectedly"

Once again, she knows how much she means to me... and, once again I see how lucky I am!

Keep Smiling Jill!!!
Somebody is thinking about you!!!

Well, Just a quick little history about Jill and I!!! Our first date together was January 11, 1999. We went to see a movie together. It was a Monday night, and we went to see "Patch Adams." Definitely a GREAT movie !!! Anyway, the next day was a cold snowy evening. I invited her to the dorm for a second date! When she came over, we went outside and built a gigantic snowman!!! We had a snowball fight, threw each other in the snow! It was a lot of fun! Yes indeed, she is the type to play rough! She loves to play rugby at Ashland Universtiy. Also, I might add that one of her favorite activities is Kick Boxing! But that is just her buff and athletic side, she is also the type of lady that will go out to a movie, stay in for a video, or go out to the club and line dance 'til her feet fall off! I think she is great, but she still thinks that she needs more work on the dances. I always do the boyfriend response and say that she is GREAT! (But she's right... she could use a little more work) It's ok... she'll get plenty of it if she stays with me!!!

Going back a little further, in case you are interested, Jill and I met each other about 3 years ago when we worked together at a steakhouse. I was a server and she a hostess. The funny part about our friendship was that when I finally got the nerve to ask her out, she had quit 2 days earlier. I thought that I had lost my chance and that I would never see her again. To my surprise, we did met again!!! I was working at Old Navy when I saw her and a friend walking through the store. I recognized her, but didn't know why. After talking for a spell, we finally figured it out. As she was about to leave, I gave her my e-mail address and asked her to write to me if she got a chance. I was surprised at how quickly I had a response! It only took a couple of days!

I must say that Jill has never ceased to amaze me!!! When my 18 year old sister went into the hospital on Friday, April 23, I was up in Cleveland. When Allison (my sister) called me and told me what was going on, I packed a bag and headed home to Columbus. But, just as I was throwing my bag into the car, Jill pulled up and told me that she wanted to go, too! I admit that I wanted her with me, but I did not want her to make the trip to Columbus! It is a 2 1/2 Hour trip and she would have to follow me in her car. She understood and followed me to Columbus. When we got to the hospital to visit my sister, I got quite a bit of "loving" harassment from my sister! I was relieved that Allison, my sister, was normal while she was in her hospital room.

But that was where the fun began!!! As Jill and I were leaving my sister's hospital room, we were discussing, with my mom, what the doctors were trying to rule out in the tests. As we were talking, I got queezy and ended up passing out on the floor! I hit my head pretty good and I was "out" for about a minute! When I came to, my mom was trying to see how coherent I was and the nurses were checking Pulse, BP, and Blood Sugar. Jill was holding my hand the entire time! She stayed with me in the ER and through all of the tests that followed. I felt so bad that she had to see me like that! She stills loves me through the whole ordeal!!!
WHEW!!! What a relief for me!!!

Jill is also a lady that is always full of surprises! She was incredible on Valentine's weekend and even more amazing at her sorority formal.

I think that I enjoyed her sorority formal the most. She was so beautiful and really fun to be with that evening!!! And, WOW, can she dress up!!! As soon as I can get some pictures from her formal, I will post them on this site, so everyone can see how beautiful she is/was!!! Her elegance shocked me! I never knew that she could be so amazing! The entire weekend was a real treat, for both of us. We were both full of surprises for each other, trying to make it the most special evening possible!

If you have seen this page before, then you know that Jill had MONONUCLEOSUS(sp) AKA - MONO. She was so sick that she had come home from school for a week to get better. I am happy to say that she is better and I did not get infected. YEAH!!! When she was able to return to school, she quickly caught up and is doing great!!!!

It's a good thing that she is feeling better. She got sick pretty close to her Sorority formal was coming up pretty close to that time, and it would have been unfortunate if she had been sick. I felt badly because I wanted it to be a special weekend for her!

I must say that this Valentine's Day was the first time in a long time that I was able to spend this holiday with someone special to me. She wanted to plan the weekend, so I let her! At first I didn't have the first clue what she had planned. All that I knew was that I need to be dressed up and ready to go that Friday night. I couldn't believe it when she took me to eat at Outback Steakhouse!!! And then, that Sunday she came over to my dorm and gave me a cookie bouquet! It took me a while, but I eventually finished it!!! She also made some delicious Brownies for ME!!! (Well, actually, they were cupcakes, but they tasted like brownies!!!)

I LOVE YOU, JILL!!

He Knew

When God made you he knew.
He knew I would need you.
He knew you would be my friend.
He knew you would understand me.
He knew you would love me .
He knew you would be there for me.

There are angels walking on this
earth disguised as Friends.
And you my friend, are one of them

Thank you for being my friend
Friends who take time to care are
really angels unaware.

You're my Angel.
