I got this pic from Abbey's Jo Dee Messina page. Thanks!
Here are the pics from her performance. I had others, but they were blurry and I have a close up pic of her signing, but it's a bad pic. I have it uploaded, so if enough people want to see it I will add it.

This was the first time I had ever seen Jo Dee perform live and is excellent! If you have a chance to see her live, you definitely should. She had the crowd really pumped up. She also did a Gloria Estefan song and played the drums during it. I had heard about it, but I didn't think she would do it because she didn't have a lot of time.
For those of you that have never been to Fan Fair, they have a line that goes right in front of the stage so you can take pictures, which is a great idea. I got in the line right before Jo Dee came out and she had sung like three songs when I got to her. I was just glad I got to her because I was afraid I wouldn't.
Before she started Even God Must Get The Blues, she said something about how when people send their kids off to school they shouldn't have to worry about whether or not they'll make it home safe and that was really sweet and so true. I mean, at my school now we have cameras!
And then before Lesson In Leaving she told everybody that she had this boyfriend for awhile and she thought he was the real thing and one day he came to her and said, "Baby, it's not you, it's me." I had a feeling that's what she was going to say he said. So, anyways, she said she got another job to support herself and then he came back later and she just laughed and then was like, "and I said no way." (Or something like that.)
Then, at the end, David Kersh came out (he was the announcer for Curb Records show) and said that Jo Dee got him hot. That was pretty funny.
I only have three pictures from her performance and I have two of her at her booth and I will put them up when I get the film back. I'm seeing her again in September, so hopefully I'll have better pictures.
