    The Review

This was an all around spectacular show. I got my dad a ticket for Father's Day and we were both super psyched about the show. When I heard about John's death, I was crushed, I thought that they might not tour again. I was glad to hear that they decided to tour. Anyway, we sat (well stood mostly) in the lawn. Robert Plant and his band opened up and they were amazing. I was impressed with how well these young guys could replicate Led Zeppelin so well. I had heard that Robert's voice was failing, but I was frickin amazed. I felt like I time warped back to the 70's. They played my favorite Zeppelin tune "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" which made up for the lack of Stairway. The encore was "Whole Lotta Love," which rocked pretty hard. Before The Who went on they played a short video commemorating the life of John Entiwistle. I can't remember the order of any of the songs, but it was amazing. I wish that I owned and had listened to Quadrophenia because they played qhite a few songs from that album of which I was not familiar. It was still an amazing show. There were a few songs that I would have liked to hear, but they did play for about 3 hours I think, so I'm not going to complain. The encore consisted of roughly half of Tommy. That was pretty kick ass cool. All in all, it was an excellent show, I didn't hear one off note and Roger can still do that trademark scream from "Won't Get Fooled Again." The only thing missing (besides the original members) was the destruction of the equipment after they were done, but I guess that comes with maturity. Rock on.
