    The Review

This show was really awesome. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot except to hear some Doors covers, but it totally blew me away. I'm still looking for the set list and haven't been able to find it, but I know that they played some of the more obscure Doors stuff. I don't have every Doors CD or anything, but I didn't really recognize a lot of the stuff, needless to say it was still great. The show was at this place called the Hard Hat here in Toledo, which is actually a bar and a small concert venue that are seperated by a garage door. Anyway, the show rocked, Robby came on looking very unassuming in his Bob Marley t-shirt and khaki's. I was not aware that Robby plays with his son Wayland, they were an amazing pair, in fact, the whole band was great. The high points of the show for me were the guitar dual between the Kriegers and the guitar/keyboard dual with Robby and Steve Bach. All in all this was a freakin great show that blew me away. Oh yeah, another great moment was before the show even started when we (I was accompanied by my friends Jim and Steph, thanks to Steph for the pics) heard the band, or the roadies, warming up to "Smoke on the Water." If Robby and company are coming anywhere near you, go see them.
