The Backstreet Boys’ November 27 concert at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky sold out in twenty-four minutes on Saturday (September 25), surpassing the previous record of thirty-one minutes set by the first of Garth Brooks’ three Rupp concerts in May of 1998. The group has a particularly large fan base in the state because two of its members have Kentucky roots: Brian Littrell is from Lexington and his cousin, Kevin Richardson, is from Estill County. source:www.music.com
