*~Chapter 15~*
Two months later, Brian, Nick, and the rest of the guys were on a 2 week promotional tour in Europe.
Ring Ring Ring
“Hello?” Lisa said picking up the phone.
“Hey Lisa, it’s Nick. Is Lauren there?”
“Yep, hold on...Lauren phone!”
“Hello?”-Lauren
“Hey darlin.”-Nick
“Hey, how’s Europe?”-Lauren
“Good, and Florida?”-Nick
“Wonderful, like always. So what’s up?”-Lauren
“I have good, and bad news. I’ll tell ya the good news first...We’re releasing a single and a CD in the US, and the bad news is this means we’ll have to tour along with it.”-Nick
“That’s cool, we’ll live.”-Lauren
“Well, I gotta go, but Brian wants to tell Lisa the news really quick, so bye angel, I’ll see ya in a week.”-Nick
“Bye baby, I’ll get Lisa...Lisa, Brian wants to talk to you,” Lauren said as she handed Lisa the phone and Brian preceded to tell her the news.

"Lauren!” Nick said running off the airport terminal and giving her a kiss.
“Lisa!” Brian said running to her and kissing her.

...the Backstreet Boys had released an album in the U.S. They were a huge hit with people of all ages because all the people discovered they weren’t your typical “boy-band.” Lisa and Brian, and Lauren and Nick’s relationships were still strong. It was now July, and Lisa and Brian were living together again for the summer.
“You wanna drive over to Daytona Beach tonight?”-Brian
“Sure, let me get ready, and we can go.”-Lisa

“I’m ready!”-Lisa
“Ok,” Brian said as they walked out the door and got in the car. A half hour later they were at Daytona Beach. It was now 7:00pm.
“Let’s go to dinner, I have reservations.”-Brian
“So, you had this planned?”-Lisa
“...and maybe I did,” Brian said grinning. After they ate they decided to take a walk on the beach. They kept walking until they found an area of secluded rocks and sat down.
“We haven’t been alone like this forever...I mean without some crazy fan coming and interrupting us.”-Brian
“Yeah, I know what you mean. You know how much I love you?”-Lisa
“How much?” Brian asked as Lisa leaned over and gave him a long kiss.
“You know how much.”-Lisa
“Oh, do I?”-Brian
“Yeah.”-Lisa
“Ok, well maybe I do.”-Brian
“So...”-Lisa
“Marry me!” Brian blurted out unexpectedly while holding out a gorgeous diamond ring.
“I’d love to marry you!” Lisa said as she leaned over and kissed him, “...but we have it wait until May when I graduate from college.”
“Yes, yes, yes!” Brian yelled, “you don’t understand how nervous I was, I was afraid you’d say no.”
“Me, say no, nah,” Lisa said kissing him again.
“Well, how’s June? I want to marry you as soon as possible.”
“Ok, that sounds good to me, but you do know we’re going on tour again from March to May, right?”-Brian
“Yeah, let me plan everything, ‘cept your tux and groomsmen and stuff like that. I’m sure Lauren will help me too.”-Lisa
“Ok, well what do you wanna do now?”-Brian
“You just wanna go back to your place? I’m kinda tired.”-Lisa
“Sure baby. I love you so much,” Brian said hugging her, then they walked back to his car and drove back to Orlando.

“Lauren baby, you there?” Nick asked knocking on the door to Lauren’s condo in Ruskin.
“I’m coming!” Lauren screamed as she ran to the door and opened it.
“Whoa, I wish you would wear that more often,” Nick said wrapping his arms around Lauren who was only in a towel because she had just gotten out of the shower.
“Oh behave,” she said in her best Austin Powers voice. “I’m gonna go get dressed,” she said playfully pushing Nick away.
“Fine, be that way. I have one question though, why are you taking a shower at 7:00 at night?”-Nick
“I was at the beach all day, so I was covered with sand, and I decided to take a shower again. Ok with you?” Lauren said giving him a kiss.
“Why didn’t you ask me to go with you to the beach? Don’t you like my company?”-Nick
“I love your company, but I don’t need to spend every minute with you, ok baby?” Lauren said hugging him.
“I know, I was just playin with ya.” Nick said hugging her tighter.
“Ok, so what do ya want to do tonight?”-Lauren
“Uh, I was gonna ask you?”-Nick
“Well, let’s see, we have a few choices. Either we stay here and just lay low, or we go out and get mobbed by fans. I’m for staying here, how ‘bout you?”-Lauren
“Sounds GREAT to me!”-Nick
“Now let me go get my flannel pants and shirt on and I’ll be right back.” Lauren said kissing him.
“Why don’t you just stay in that?”-Nick
“I thought we already went through this,” Lauren said laughing.
“Yeah, I know, go get dressed,” Nick said as Lauren walked to her room to change.”

“I’m back.”-Lauren
“I’m gonna order pizza, ok?”-Nick
“Yep, and I’ll find a movie on pay-per-view.”-Lauren
“Well, it was going to take the pizza an hour and a half to be delivered, so I didn’t order it. You got any food here?”-Nick
“Yeah, I got popcorn in that cabinet.”-Lauren
“Ok, I’ll put it in the microwave.”-Nick
“Yeah, and then you get your butt over here,” Lauren said patting the seat next to her on the couch.
“I’m comin, I’m coming,” Nick said running over and jumping on the couch. He and Lauren watched the movie City of Angels and fell asleep on the couch.
