- Go to ImageMagick Studios
- Enter URL and hit "view"
- To Resize the Image
- Click the "Resize" tab
- Enter new size (eg 300x200!) - Don't
forget the !
- Click the "Resize" button
- Hit the "Back" button and adjust the size
until you get it right
- To Add Text
- Click the "Annotate" tab
- Type in the text you wish to add
- Pick the "position" of the text
- Choose your font style
- Choose your font color
- Choose your font size
- Change the "density" to 126
- Click the "Annotate" button
- Hit the "Back" button and adjust things
until you get it the way you want it
- To Add A Border
- Click the "Decorate" tab
- Decide how thick you want your border to
be (eg 5x5=thin or 20x20=thick)
- Choose a color for the border
- Click the "Decorate" button
- Hit the "Back" button to adjust the
border til you get it right
- To Crop (cut out) Your Image
- In the Parameter box
it wants to know the size of the image and
how much to take off horizontally and
vertically. Here's how it works....
- So if you have an image that is 300x200
and you want to take off 50 from the left and
50 from the bottom you would put this in the
Parameter
box.

- To Make Your Own Background
- In the "Filename" field, type in the color you want your background to be (using lower case)
- Scroll down the page
- In the "Size" field, adjust the size according to how large the name you wish to use will be (eg, 100x100 for a small name, 200x200 for a larger name, etc etc)
- From the "Format" drop-down box, select "xc"
- Scroll back up and hit "view"
- Your background color should appear as a box on the screen. If it's not the color you want simply hit your "back button" and adjust it.
- To add the name to your background - use the same rules as you do in adding text to an image (above)
- Generally, you type in the name you wish to appear, choose "center" as the position, choose your font style, color, size, in the "angle" field (under Annotate), type in -30 to put your text on an angle, and then hit "annotate"
- If your text is not aligned how you like it, or if there is anything else wrong, simply click the "back button" and make the changes.
- If your background box is too big, then "crop" it (as above). If it is too small, hit your "back button" (to remove the text) and then "resize" it (as above)
- To Transload Your Image When Finished
- Click the "Output" tab
- Select ".jpg" or ".gif"
- Select "Single File"
- Click the "Output" button
- Scroll down and click "Transload this
picture to your website"
- Continue to fill out transloader

- Transloader Information
- Rename file to = ?.gif or ?.jpg
- FTP Server Name = eg. ftp.angelfire.com
- Login name = eg oh3/cdufriends
- Password = tickles
- Scroll down and click the "Transload"
button
- Wait until "report" comes back saying the
file has been transloaded
NOTE! Feel free to use
the above transloader information if you
don't have an angelfire account of your own.
If you do have an angelfire account (or any
other account), just substitute your own
information for the information given.
