the following is a story that I've heard a few times. It makes you think. please read it.
There was a young man who was very smart. He graduated, the top of his class, at the age of 17. All through his high school life, he never drank or did drugs. After he graduated, he went into the armed forces. He later got married and had a daughter.
When he turned 21, he still hadn't tried any drugs or alcohol. Some of his military buddies decided to take him to a bar for his 21st birthday.
Once they got there, one of the guys announced that his friend was 21 and had never had a drink. The bartender brought over some free drinks. The man didn't want to drink, but he thought he would jsut try it. He took a few shots and nothing happened, so he drank some more. He felt fine, so he got in his truck and drove home.
When he woke up the next morning he had a headache, but that was pretty much it. He thought that maybe drinking wasn't that bad after all. He suddenly heard his wife scream, and ran outside, thinking there was something wrong with his daughter. He ran outside, and looked to where his wife was pointing.
there, in the grill of his truck, was the head of a ten year old boy. He had hit him on the way home the night before and never even knew.
Think. Don't Drink. You never know what can happen, and if something does, you can't take it back.
