Advice is cheap
You can read the advice column in the paper
for about a buck and a half
But you can't buy ears
or someone's kindness
That can only come frim a friend
That is there for you
When you are there for them

You sit there patiently
Even though I wonder if you're getting sick of my complaints
If so, you never say so
A lot of people can talk
But very few can listen as well as you do
and with their hearts
You have learned that communication is a two way street
