Never Alone
Why is it that you feel alone
How is it that you have no hope
Who is it that has betrayed you
Is it really possible to say that no one cares
It is nonsense to feel this way
Because you know I am always here for you
You know I will always listen to you no matter what
I am not the type of person to ditch you when things get hard
Instead, I am one to be there to help you
To be sure you are all right
You are never alone
Not when I am here
All that could stop me from caring would be if I were dead
But even then, my very being would rise and come back to you
I know what hard times are
I know what it feels like to be truly alone
And so my friend,
It is for these reasons that I tell you
You are not alone any more
Because you always will have me
