Seating Arrangements
I often wonder
If had you not been sat beside me,
If we would have been friends at all
I try not to think on that long though,
as I'm scared that we would never have even said a word to each other
That would have been a mistake
But then, in the same respect, I wonder, if I have changed your life for the better
or the worse
If it is the latter, I'm truly sorry
But I know that you have changed my life in a postivie way
I see myself differently now
Appreciate me for who I am
And realize that just becuase something is unchangeable, does not make me any less of a person
So as I sit here,
thinking of my friends and how they have affected me,
I think of the teacher that decided we were to sit together,
and thank him for giving me the chance
to get to know you
my Friend.
