Children are a precious GIFT...
We are blessed with three..
and a TWO GRANDBABIES..
Grandchildren are so special..
They bring so much unexpected joy...

LO, CHILDREN ARE AN HERITAGE FROM THE LORD; AND THE FRUIT
 OF THE WOMB
IS HIS REWARD.
AS ARROWS ARE IN THE HAND OF A MIGHTY MAN, SO ARE CHILDREN OF ONE'S YOUTH...
HAPPY IS THE MAN WHO HATH HIS QUIVER FULL OF THEM; THEY SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED, BUT THEY SHALL SPEAK WITH THE ENEMIES IN THE GATE..
It is an awesome responsibility
to raise up a child.
God expects us to teach
them about Him and teach
them to pray. When begun at
birth children have a great
faith in Jesus and it
is not hard for them to
follow Him.
( Proverbs 22:6 )
TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO AND, WHEN HE IS OLD, HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT.
( Deuteronomy 6:5-7 )
AND THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THINE HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THEY MIGHT. AND
THOU SHALT TEACH THEM DILIGENTLY
UNTO THY CHILDREN,AND SHALT TALK OF THEM WHEN THOU
SIT IN
THINE HOUSE, AND WHEN THOU WALKEST BY THE WAY, AND WHEN THOU
LIEST DOWN AND WHEN THOU RISEST UP.

THE ROD AND REPROOF GIVE WISDOM, BUT A CHILD LEFT TO HIMSELF BRINGETH HIS MOTHER TO SHAME.
CORRECT THY SON, AND HE SHALL GIVE THEE REST; YEA, HE SHALL GIVE DELIGHT UNTO THY SOUL.
..PARENTS SHOULD BE MATURE SPIRITUALLY..
The effective parent needs a
Spirit filled walk with God.
Training a child involves transmitting
one's life pattern to the child.
....GIVE INSTRUCTION IN THE SCRIPTURES..
We can only teach
what we believe ourselves.
....REINFORCE SCRIPTURE IN EVERYDAY LIFE..
"and shalt TALK of them when thou LIEST DOWN,
and when thou RISEST UP"
That means that we teach during
every waking moment;
at home, away from home,
from the rising in the morning
to the retiring at night.
Everything we do must consistantly
communicate the same concept.

**Consistant---
"Fathers, provoke
not your children to anger,
lest they be discouraged."
[Colossians 3:21]
**Nurturing---
is one of the most
challenging Christian responsibilities.

OBEDIENT TO YOU AN
TO THE LORD...THAT
COMES BY TEACHING THEM
CONTINUALLY THE WORD OF TRUTH..
