Our Parents, we really do not appreciate Them until they are gone, till it is too late. We think they will be with us forever, Nothing can go wrong. They will leave us? NEVER! We argue with them. We think they are always wrong, We think that they are dumb and not very strong. It sees, though the older we get, The smarter they are, You can bet. When we get older and become adults, When we quit seeing all our own parent's faults, When we get married and girls change their name, Our children will also about us, feel the same. 7-12-96 I wrote this poem in memory of my parents, you see, to me, they have gotten smarter than I ever thought they could be.
