![]() Halloween, Not The Same
![]()
Kids in costumes all around the town, Witches, ghosts, and maybe a clown. These kids are out there just to have fun, It is nice just to watch them run. Things are not like when I was a kid, We went out, had fun, and did what we did. We went out and played a few jokes, We also met a lot of very nice folks. Now the parents have to check each piece of candy, Each apple, orange and gum. Is it now dandy? A penny, a nickle, a dime or a pencil is nice, And the parents do not have to think twice. For the people who cause this frustration, I think you should do this witn great hesitation. You may think that what you are doing is swell, But, remember that all pabacks are just hell. Halloween is just not the same, For these kids, it is no longer a game. 10-1-96
