Broken pieces of my life that I want to forget, Before I meet the Lord you surely can bet. As a baby, I was not wanted by my father nor my mother. Until I was the age of seven, I was raised by another. When that age, she tried to take my life. She came after me, running with a large knife. My children, all four, I did greatly abuse, Of this great crime I stand before you, accused. Many terrible things to me they said and yet, I can forgive them all, but not forget. My peace, I have made with my Lord. I try real hard now to live by his word. Before I die and meet my God, you can bet, That broken pieces of my life I will certainly forget. 12-18-97
