We have been learning to use this setup as we go. It consists of a Garmin 48 GPS linked to a laptop running ChartView Tracker software. This allows us to basically plot a course where we want to go, then upload it to the GPS. The Navco autopilot should then use the course info, but we have not been able to get that to work properly yet. The current position, as well as the course is plotted in real time on a chart on the laptop for us to view. It also displays what the tide is doing as well as vessel course & speed.
