However, some feel the label of being in Generation X is negative---many associate this generation with being "slackers," "unmotivated," "lazy," etc. (I personally am one of those people, since I am in the generation too).

And please, remember that we are a generation like no other; most of us were raised in divorced homes, are latchkey children, who learned to microwave (as opposed to cooking), became inundated with technology and, some feel, are asked to solve the problems left to us by the previous generations.
