Alternate Timeline

When Anikin tries to pull him out of the crater, Sin tries to strike him with his lightsaber. Anikin lets go, and Sin falls into the lava.
- Episode 3. As Anikin walks away, Sin is dragging himself from the lava. Hatred pulses through him. It strengthens him, keeps him alive until the cybernetic replacements for his limbs and his environmental suit is complete. He will never breath again outside of a hyperbolic chamber without the use of his environmental suit's respirator.
- Episode 3. Bail Organa's daughter, Princess Kala, is born on Alderaan. In the events between episodes 3 and 4, she becomes an Imperial Senator, but will also be one of the Rebellion's greatest heroes.
- Between Episodes 3 and 4. Anikin returns again to Tatooine, this time fleeing from the persecution and destruction of the Jedi.
- Episode 4. This is where the campaign begins. When Darth Sin's star destroyer overtakes the Tantive IV, Princess Kala's consular ship, she dispatches the droids to deliver a vital message: "General Skywalker, years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars, now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father's request to you in person, but my ship has fallen under attack and I'm affraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. My father will know how to retrieve them. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. This is our darkest hour. Help us Anikin Skywalker, you're my only hope."
- The player characters may take the place of Luke, particularly is one is willing to be the child of Owen and Beru Lars, or can replace Han and Chewie and be approached by a farm boy and crazy wizard who need passage to the Alderaan system. If a player is willing to sit out on half of the adventure, they may even be Princess Kala.
