Fan Fiction

Fan fiction. Like short stories, it's what I do when I'm having writer's block with my novel. Or in the case of "Chasing Lana", what I do when Creative Writing class assigns me to write something and I neither want to rip from said novel nor sound like a stoned hippie. Hey, classmates, even if it's fanfic, it's still a heck of a lot more original and better written than half the crap you churned out! I did not know that a soldier's experiences on the battlefield could be so blandly portrayed, nor religion so incompetantly critiqued, until I had to read your shit for a grade.

But that's over and done with.

Now for the fan fiction, in which I disregard what the fandom is and imagine what it could be.

CHASING LANA
Smallville / Star Wars crossover fan fiction. Action, humor, romance. It's brains vs brawn, as blue-balled Luke Skywalker fights Clark Kent for the first woman he's seen since leaving Tatooine! Rated R for mild language and the surprise I stick in.

BIZARRE LOVE TRIANGLE
Smallville fan fiction. Humor, action, slash, hetero. When Lex said that he wanted Clark's body, this isn't what he meant. Also, Lana sleeps with someone. Rated PG-13 for mild language and sexuality.

THIS SIDE OF ME: THE TRUTH ABOUT DARREN HAYES
Savage Garden fan fiction. So old that notice how I say "Savage Garden" and not "Darren Hayes". In which Hayes turns out to be an Australian Psycho. Rated PG for non-graphic blood and gore.
