
I discovered Pink Floyd shortly after graduating high school. My dad first introduced me to Dark Side Of The Moon, I don't remember how it came about but I couldn't stop listening to it. About a year later, I met my fiance and he had a love affair with The Wall, making for some interesting and very personal memories. But what I am trying to say is that in my hodgepodge of a page and life, Pink Floyd fits in very nicely, mainly because the group really doesn't fit in anywhere. I have seen them mostly categorized as rock, but could you really see them as a rock band? I can't. They are just FLOYD, and the music can only be categorized as Floyd.
