Dominic "Neon" Bellows

Anyone who knows me very well knows that my memory isn't the best. This character comes from way back in my sophomore year of college. At the time, I still hadn't read the rulebooks for myself, so naturally I couldn't associate properly with what was going on. Too bad. Fortunately I have the original document I made for my original version of this site WAY back when.. Hopefully it still makes some sense.

Dominic stands about 6', with purple hair (it's unknown whether it's dyed or not) and dark eyes. He seems well muscled, and usually comes across as confused, like he's not totally sure where he is from moment to moment. He carries a knapsack with his equipment and each persona's preferred clothing choices. Strangely enough, his own mind seems to cloud out his odd wardrobe.

Neon is a rather interesting character, seeing as he not only posesses, not only powerful abilities involving the control of fire, but he also is posessed of five separate personalities.

These Personalities include:

  • 1. Dominic Bellows - The Dominant Personality... He's the guy who was there before any of the others surfaced...he is totally clueless of any of the other personas or his powers. A freelance computer repairman, he was found in an abandoned psyche ward that had been Rifting in time for the past fifty or so years. He dresses in the current casual fashions and remembers nothing of his previous life.

  • 2. Neon - The Superhero... A female personality trapped in the body of a man... She lives a very tortured life and tries to atone for it by using Dominic's powers for good, hoping to prove herself more worthy than the other personalities to be in existance... to whom she's trying to prove it, no one is sure. She hopes to someday become the dominant persona and get the proper operation to rectify her situation (i.e. make her PHYSICALLY female as well). She dresses in a form-fitting yellow and orange costume and has complete knowledge of the other personas and of her full range of abilities.
  • 3. Larry Crayola - The Psychotic... A lunatic... period. The dominant persona when he was discovered in the psyche ward, he is impulsive and enigmatic, seeming sometimes incompetent, but always dangerous. He's not nearly as helpless as he seems, and he seems to have access to some dangerous skills none of the others are privy to. He dresses in dark clothes and a long dark coat and fortunately knows nothing of his powers. He will fight desperately to control the body.

  • 4. Perry Conner - The Villain... This is the cruel conniver, not to be trusted, nor crossed. he wants nothing more than total domination of everything he can get his grubby little hands on. His major weakness is his habit of biting off more then he can chew; if he feels challenged, he WILL fight. Because of him, this character spent a lot of time incapacitated. His personality finds it more utilitarian to simply use the outfit of the persona who was in control previously and wreak havoc using that. This makes him hard to spot and also allows him to keep his existance secret. He has full knowledge of his powers and the other personalities...

  • 5. "Popps" - The Pacifist... He seems to be about 70, possibly the incarnation of some grandfatherly figure in Dominic's early life. He knows about Dominic's personality and has taken it on himself to protect him from harm. He knows nothing of his powers, nor the other three personalities...

Discovered in a Psyche Ward in a circular time rift by a group of adventurers, Neon (then Larry) tried to use a Wilks laser pistol to take the head off of the party's Cosmoknight (Note for non-gamers: This is a very, very stupid thing for him to do as Cosmoknights are probably the biggest powergamer favorite in all of gaming...). He almost died then... and the Cosmoknight almost became a Fallen One... fortunately he was saved by the group's hybrid Alien.

When a Psi-scan was attempted, Dominic surfaced as the dominant persona. Of course he knew nothing about anything...

He spent the next several months in a haze (or more or less I seem to have) The few things that are vaguely recollected are Popps arguing with the party for Dominic's safety and his importance to some vague future happening, Larry Crayola breaking windows in the home of the illustrious General Prozek of the Coalition States, and Perry nearly getting himself killed for challenging the previously mentioned Alien hybrid. Everything else is a blur.
