Started on 12/13/97 Finished on 12/25/97 Droopy eyes Your vision blurs You drift off And feel your body twist and turn. You're in a land of mystery Walking, or drifting, on shadows Spirits flow by In windy meadows. There is a light ahead That you see clearly You squint into the brightness And see the ones you love dearly. These visions appear to be the real people there So you reach out Your fingers brushing the air And they disappear. Your thoughts are laced in confusion As thick smoke swirls around You come to a conclusion As you begin to drift down. "These are fragments of my imagination." You realize, after deep thoughts And with this satisfaction You lazely open your eyes toward the heavens and the skies. ~ Inspired by thoughts and realistic dreams. Note: Notice that this was finished on Christmas day. Probably the only reason that someone didn't die a horrible death...
