the pecadiloes - news

june 2000

the pecadiloes are confirmed to play the esquires in bedford on saturday 22nd july. and on sunday 23rd, they shall be strutting their stuff in their imPECable (haha! erm) style at the truck fest in steventon, near oxford alongside the likes of unbelievable truth and dustball to name, erm, two. click here for more details.

27th march

a gig at the esquires in bedford has been scheduled for april, see the gig guide for more details

24th february

the pecadiloes gig is still going ahead, however, the venue has changed. rather than playing the barfly at the camden falcon, the gig will now take place at the monarch (chalk farm road, camden). the reason for this is that the barfly has now moved to the monarch since it was discovered that the place was being held together by mould. possibly. however, the official line on this relocation is:

"...the move will also see the installation at the venue of upgraded sound and lighting systems and an audio-visual unit that will allow even more gigs to be broadcast over the internet on channelfly.com."

so if you can't get to the gig, you can always watch it online! nice!

6th feb 2000

the pecadiloes have returned! a gig is planned at the barfly on tuesday march 14th where the band will give the audience a taster of their much anticipated new material...support comes from boom-boom mancini + zephyr 6.

december 1999

the gig at water rats on january 11th has now been postponed and the junket will play instead.

27th november 1999

the pecadiloes were scheduled to play a gig in london on december 1st but the date has now been changed to january 11th at water rats, kings cross, london. according to the official mailout (join the list at www.pecadiloes.com) the band will be going into the studio with david bottrill who has previously worked with dEUS and tool. which is absolutely marvellous as you may have read amongst other pages of nothing shocking.....? that i have more than a slight passion for those dEUS boys' tunes. therefore i can assure you that the pecadiloes are in good hands with mr bottrell.

and just to add to the excitement, THE JUNKET will now be playing on dec 1st instead of the pecadiloes (see the junket live bit for more information.)

26th june 1999
