Hello Everyone. Welcome to Native_Dreams. Well this is the third and last update of 1999. (I think) It is now October 16 and yep I made it to Alabama. The week before I left Ohio, we went searching for where some of my ancestors were buried. We went out in the sticks so far it was hard to believe there was anything out there, let alone a graveyard. But, what I found was exactly what I was searching for. In one place I found the grave of my G.G.G.G. Grandmother, Lucinda, and believe it or not you could still read the engraving on the stone. She was Native American. That was a big find for me. Then the next place I went I found the graves of her sisters and their husbands, her brother and her mother--my G.G.G.G.G. grandmother. And, yep you could see the engraving on their stones also. The one of my G.G.G.G.G grandmother was hard to see but you could read it. I got video and still pictures of all of them. Here in Alabama I would like to continue searching for my family roots. May be a little harder but well worth the effort. On a sadder note, I lost my wolf-Shadow- after I moved here. He died. I think my daughter and me cried for a week. We are gonna try to find another one, but there will never be another one as good as he was. There is a picture of him and my daugther on my NativeSpirits page..and a link to go to it at the bottom of this page. So I guess I will close for now...and hopefully, if the YK2 doesn't screw everything up, there will be another update soon after January 1, 2000. Wow, doesn't that look strange... We all now have something in commom..we will all see a New Millennium.. Take care..see ya all in chat and hopefully through e-mail... ...HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!
