Chapter 6
“Isaac Hanson! You better get yourself up! I can’t believe you two!” Taylor
shrieks as he comes running downstairs and sees the two of you in bed. “Mom and
Dad are upstairs! Don’t you two know any better?”
“Taylor what are you talking about?” Isaac asks his brother sleepily as he
rubs his eyes.
“You two! I am talking about you two!”
“Taylor slow down. We didn’t do anything.” You calmly tell Taylor, trying not
laugh at what he is imagining.
“Yeah sure. That’s exactly why Isaac isn’t in his bed.” Taylor says as he rolls
his eyes.
“Taylor you are jumping to conclusions. We didn’t do anything.... but sleep.”
Isaac tells his brother harshly.
“Okay. Okay.” Taylor puts his hands up in the air and starts to walk
backwards to the foot of the stairs. “I’m sorry. Mom has breakfast ready. Just thought
I’d let you know.” He turns and starts his journey up stairs.
“Thanks. We’ll be up a little later.” Isaac tells his brother and you look at
Isaac.
“Up later?” You ask him arching your eyebrows.
Isaac smiles and pulls your hair and lightly starts to kiss your neck.
You pull away, “Hold it Romeo,” and you put your hand up in protest.
“What’ wrong with a little kissing?” He smiles and looks in your
eyes.
Teasingly, you kiss his lips and then whisper “Later.”
He bites his lower lip as you get up out of bed and walk into the bathroom.
Quickly, you brush your teeth and slip on the jeans and short-sleeve sweater you left in
there last night.
“Hey! That looks really nice.” Isaac tells you. “Ready to go and get some
breakfast?” He asks as he holds his hand out for you.
You smile and grab onto his hand, you had always loved the way he would
have his hand there for you no matter what. “Yep.”
