I found out that Hanson was playing in
Memphis, so I was totally psyched. (duh.) The strange thing is, they were performing in
my neighbor's front yard. They had set up their stage there and everything. (?)
Anyways, when I found out the location, I went to tell my friend Kim, who lives behind
me. She wasn't home so I left a message with her brother. I was heading for my house
when I heard the opening chords of "MMMBop" and I ran to my front yard. There they
were!! I quickly joined the crowd of about twenty girls and we were all jammin' and stuff.
About thirty minutes later, right in the middle of "A Minute Without You" I saw Kim (my
friend) ride her bike into my cove. Apparently she hadn't gotten my message, 'cause
she fell off her bike in shock. When she joined me in the crowd, we screamed for a few
minutes and then we went to dancing. The boys took a break and went inside my
neighbor's house to eat a snack or something, so I invited everyone into my house for
drinks. (A lot of us also had to go to the bathroom.) When Hanson returned, they
played "Ever Lonely" and this really cute guy in the crowd asked me to dance. I was
like, "Sure!" so we began to boogie and then Hanson started performing "IWCTY" The
same guy asked me to dance again and I was about to say "Yes" when he looked
behind me and said "I think you have a better offer." I said "Huh?" (he was the only guy
in the crowd) and turned around. Taylor was right behind me!!! Surprisingly, no one
jumped him or anything; I guess this was a more mature crowd. He was singing in his
microphone and holding out his hand, so I took it. (It's not like me to be rude. He, he.)
He helped me on stage (Kim was gaping) and began to waltz with me. I was so nervous
that I kept stepping on his toes and tripping over Ike's guitar cord. Toward the end of
the song, Tay went to spin me and I slammed into Zac's drums. So right in the middle of
this romantic ballad, there was this BOOM! that made everyone jump three feet in the
air. Taylor never even blinked; he just finished singing, kissed me on the cheek (sigh)
and helped me off stage. Later, when they were greeting fans, Taylor motioned me
aside and asked me to meet him by my van. I was like "Okay" and I went to wait for
him. When he arrived, he had a rose (that looked very like the ones my neighbors had
growing in their yard) and he gave it to me. He then asked if I wanted to go to the store
with him. I agreed and we climbed in my van. (Taylor had somehow gotten the keys)
and then he decided we didn't need to go to the store. Instead, he leaned over to kiss
me, (no protests here) and we alternated between kissing and talking until Ike came to
say it was time for them to leave. Tay kissed me goodbye (Isaac looked a little
surprised) and we walked to his van, where Kim was kissing Zac goodbye. They pulled
out of our cove and thatz when I woke up. Just as well, cause I probably would have
started sobbing or something. And, just for the record, I like Isaac, NOT Taylor. Why I
dreamed about Tay, I'll never know, but you need Hanson dreams and thatz the only
