Chapter 33
Waking up, you find yourself at Hanson’s house with Isaac right beside you.
Smiling to yourself, you stretch up and kiss his lips to wake him up. He smiles and
opens his eyes. “What time is it?” You ask him.
Isaac unwraps his left arm from your shoulders and looks at his watch. “It’s almost
midnight. We better start heading home. I don’t want Devon’s Mom to be mad at
us.”
“No, I don’t want to leave. If I go, that means I will never see you again. I don’t
want this night to end.” Isaac wraps his arms back around your shoulders.
“But I need to get you home. You need your sleep for tomorrow. Isn’t Mr. James
planning on leaving around 7 AM?”
He was right, you hated to admit it, but you did need to get some sleep, if you
could sleep at all. “Okay I guess. But promise me you will be there tomorrow morning?
Please, so I can sleep tonight? I won’t sleep if I know I won’t be seeing you one more
time.”
“Of course I will be there. I was planning on it.” Isaac stands up and stretches then
holds his hand out for you. You glumily take hold of his and you two make your journey
home again.
