Let's talk about . . .ME!

  • Born: July 27, 1982
  • Home: Vancouver, BC
  • Nationality: Canadian Citizen as of 1996

Events of 2000:

  • School and Work
    • I graduated High School this year
    • Went to Prom with some people I barely knew cause I only spent 8 months in that school, so I didn't have time to make many friends, but at least I went to Prom. I think the best part is looking for the "perfect dresss" and finding it.
    • After Prom was the Graduation Ceremony and the brutal Final Exams.
    • That summer I spent working at Pizza Hut answering the phone so I can make some extra cash and keep from getting bored. The job was o.k. at first, but now I think it's just a pain in the neck. All the customers bitching at me all day and all this for MINIMUM WAGE! Well I got a raise now so my pay goes up $0.25 (whoopy doo!). But still I think my youth is worth more than $7.65 an hour so I only work once a week now, leaving the rest of the time to waste on Home work or just being lazy . . .
    • In the fall of 2000, I went back to school this time as a College student. Let me tell you, College is nothing like what you see on TV. It's less fun and more Homework and one endless boring lecture after another. Worse everyone ignores you cause they're too absorbed in their own problems. By the end of my first term things were better and more fun cause I made some friends in some of my classes, that was the best part, meeting all these new people.
  • Life:
    • This is the first year of living "on my own."
    • Acually I'm roomate with my brother who is 2 years older than me. Of course when two sibblings live together without much parental supervision, all hell does break loose once in a while. We argue about everything, from who should wash the dishes to why there's never any food in the fridge (if you don't count the CheezeWhiz that's been in there for 9 months already). Despite all the chaos, I kinda enjoy living with my brother. I especially like how he never does anything and how I can always relie on him to trash the place 24 hrs after I cleaned it up. :)
  • Car troubles:
    • So we started off 2000 sharing a 4 door 1986 Toyota Camry, then I crashed it in April wich was my FIRST car accident ever!So . . . I had to drive to Prom with a smashed up car, cause I didn't wanna waste money on a limo. My brother was very supportive through the whole thing, he didn't yell at me for being stupid or anything like that.
    • Later in August that same cheap-ass-smashed-up car got stolen so we got a new car. A 1990 5-speed, standard Acura Integra. I didn't really know how to drive standard but I drove the car anyways so I crashed it and "totaled" it on Thanks Giving Day! Needless to say my brother was slightly pissed off at me.
    • Our latest car is a 1992 5-speed Toyota Cellica gt-s. This is the best car I've ever driven. Even though it was a standard, it was so easy to drive! I love this car so much that I washed it every weekend, it's like family you know? It has nice curves all over, and fully loaded with power EVERYTHING. It also has CD, tape deck and radio on it so I can listen to loud music when I'm drivin'.
    • I thought after I got my Cellica that life will be "happily ever after" so you can see why I was thoroughly upset when my brother crashed it when he took it out of town. It took 2 weeks to fix it, and he crashed it AGAIN 2 weeks later. This time he "totaled" the car, since he couldn't bare seeing it sold for parts, we're going to have it fixed. Hopefully by the time it's fixed it will still look something like this:
    • Anyways, after all those mishaps, me and my brother are both car-less. I'm very upset. It's like having your favorite toy taken away from you. I mean the Cellica was so much FUN to drive... now my brother has no car to pick up chicks and I have to take the bus EVERYWHERE, it's a pain in the ass really.
