The Gopher Gathering
The Rules
When visiting The Gopher Gathering, it would be greatly appreciated if the following rules were followed:
1. Admittance.
No spiders or Visigoths allowed. Other than that, anyone's allowed to post granted you follow the rules.
2. Swearing.
Board censors are engaged that screen the nastiest words. But still, some get through, so try to watch your tongue.
3. Sexual commentation.
Try not to make this place "Orgy City, USA". I'm sure Ian can supply you with one of those. Let's keep it clean. Occassional comments are okay, but don't try to make this board X-rated.
4. Advertising.
Any posts trying to sell a massage sofa or trips to Hawaii or trying to recruit anyone for modeling purposes or anything similar will be deleted. Advertisers should not take advantage of this board to promote their products. Any such misuse will be deleted. Now, if you post with the intention of saying that your sister's selling Girl-Scout cookies, then that'll be all right to a degree. This is not a billboard.
5. Harassment.
Please don't use this board to spread rumors or make attacks on anyone. Sure, you can make fun of each other, that's okay. But if anything is posted with the direct intention of belittling a single person or group, then it'll be deleted. This includes petty arguements. Take these off board, because no one wants to watch you fight. Play nice!
6. Nonsense posts.
Don't post just to take up room or have more posts than someone else. All posts that don't make a contribution to the board or are deemed useless will be deleted.
7. Pseudonyms.
Don't post under fake names. On The Gopher Gathering, we all use our real names and it is appreciated that you do the same. Exceptions to this rule are only if you've been around long enough that we know who you are anyway.
8. Network54.
Network54 has their own set of rules concerning board usage. While the above rules concern the Gopher Gathering in particular, they also hold true to the Network54 Terms of Use. Please abide by them, as so Network54 doesn't need to step in.
9. Josh's rights.
As moderator, I reserve the rights to delete or edit any posts. If I find anything too offensive posted, then I'll clean it up. Please don't make me do that.
Aside from that, the board is free play. Have fun, that's what it's there for.
