PRINTING CIRCUIT BOARDS
There are different ways to print ciruit boards, but we will discuss the
best way for this project. Radio Shack sells a board making kit consisting
of copper clad boards, Ferric Cloride, a marker, and rubbing alcohol.
After the copper traces are drawn on paper and checked transfer the
drawing to the copper clad board with the marker. Then place face down
in the Ferric Chloride. In about 20 minutes the solution will dissolve the
copper that was not covered in marker, giving you your ciruit board. Use the
alcohol to remove the marker, and then drill the holes. The holes have to be
pretty small. Jameco sells this size bit in their catalogue.
