As the baseball season begins, we find ourselves looking forward to summy days and warmer weather which means we can all get out on the third Monday evening of each month. Pick up a friend and go to a C.P.A. meeting
Thanks to all who attended the March Meeting and to those who didn't ... we missed you ... come see us in April.
Activities are progressing well. We just finished a successful Easter Egg Hunt. THANKS MIKE!
We have had two recent hall rentals and a few inquiries for future rentals. Thanks to Jim Morganroth for agreeing to take over this important committee.
Don't forget we have an Armchair Race coming up on Aprilth . It is our version of the Kentucky Derby. Races open at 6:30 P.M. Buffet lunch and refreshments will be served. Cost is $8.00 per person or $15.00 per couple. Call me at 574-4329 for more information.
Don't forget our next regular meeting is Monday April 19th at 8:00 P.M. Come see if you are a winner in the Montly Raffle. Remember - if you take the check home, your wife or husband won't find it in the mail!

Building Committee
Building clean up is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th, 10:00 A.M. Voluteers are needed.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Gold Card members Richard Krummen on March 12 and Anthony Tritschler on February 24. Our condolences and prayers go to their families.

We will have a guest chef for the April meeting. The menu will be spaghetti with meat cause (it's the only thing he knows how to make).
Membership

Anyone wanting to play soccer for C.P.A. this fall, please call Gordon Smyth, 481-2031 or Lou Winston, 347-0589. Boys and girls, ages 6-18 are encouraged to sign up.
Oldy's But Goody's Bob Moore, President
We will have a Pot Luck dinner at our next meeting, April 23rd. There is also talk about going to the Argosy Casino soon. We are looking for new members. Members must be 55 or older. Meetings are the 4th Friday of each month (3rd Friday of December), at 12:30 P.M. at headquarters.
Special Committees
We will again have a fund raising activity at Kings Island this year. The date for this event is Sunday, June 27th. We need about 15 voluneers; each volunteer will receive two passes to the park. This is truly a fun and easy way to raise funds for our club. For more information, please call Gordon Smyth at 481-2031.
Mark your calendars! The July regular meeting will be a family picnic! It will convene at 4:00 P.M. July 19th at the Harvest Home Park. Cost will be $3.00 per person or a maximum of $10.00 per family. A brief business meeting will follow.
A 5K walk/run is being planned for Sept. 12th or 19th. Additional Details will follow.
