Lake of Fire
I can hear the trumpet
sounding.
I can see Him on His
throne.
I can see the books are
open.
Before him, they stand
alone.
"What is your name?" the Lord is
asking.
"I cannot find it
anywhere;
your name's not in this
book."
"I'm
searching, the lake of fire is over
there."
On their knees with him they're
pleading.
"Please don't
make me go in
there."
The lake of fire
is
eternal.
"This
punishment, I cannot
bear."
"You will have to
go, I'm
sorry."
While on earth,
you had your
chance.
For your wrongs,
you were not
sorry.
For your sins no
repentance.
You can
scream and cry and
holler, begging now is much to
late.
For you have sealed
your soul
forever.
The lake of
fire is your
fate.
