Amy's Bootlist
. . . Formerly known as Di and Amy's Bootleg Variety Pack

Last Updated: 10.25.03
E-mail me to trade.

Due to circumstance beyond their control (college graduation) Di and Amy no longer trade as a single zen-like entity.
If you would like to visit Diana's page, sally forth. If you want to check out Amy's list, keep scrolling 'til you find it.
(You may want to read some of the stuff before you get there, though.)

Amy's Trading Information Center

So, I have been rather busy with starting out my life as a real adult and as a consequence I have been away from trading for about 2 years. If you have emailed me about a trade during that time, you probably received no response. If you would like to try again, feel free.

For all potential trades, please keep the following in mind:

* When you send me an email, put the word "trade" somewhere in the subject line. Otherwise it will probably be deleted as spam.

*Media and Recording, Burning, etc.:
CDRs:
Please use brand name CDRs, such as Sony, TDK, Maxell, Memorex, etc.
Burn in DAO only!
Cassettes:
Use only BRAND NEW Maxell XL II or comparable quality tapes (such as Sony or Dennon).
Do not use high speed dubbing or Dolby NR. Do not cut songs.
VHS:
Use only BRAND NEW Maxell Silver or Gold or comparable quality videos (such as high quality Sony).
Record in Hi-Fi and in SP mode (Let me know if you can't).
NOTE: I am unable to record videos in Hi-Fi at this time.

* Mailing:
Do not send cases. Do send setlists, venue information, etc.
Mail in padded envelopes.
Please mail first class.

* Trading Ratios, B&P, 2:1, etc:
I am currently interested in expanding my CDR collection, however I will trade analog and VHS in various negotiable combinations. Please Email for details.
I will trade 2:1.
I will do b&p on a limited basis. Email for details

A Few Notes on CDR Gaps, Etc.

I do not like CDRs with 2 second gaps. More importantly, these CDs are very hard to trade. Please do not send me any.

I have noted on the list or in the notes underneath each setlist when any of my CDs has two second gaps. Please be sure to click on the show to see if there are any special notes about it.

I will trade for mp3 sourced shows. I will do my best to note which of my shows are mp3 sourced, however there are no guarantees as it is often hard to tell when a show is from mp3.

Rating System

Take Note: We've been told we under-rate, so check our rating system!

Audio

A+ = God-like, perfect A = Excellent quality, not quite perfect, but close A- = Very good, but with some flaws (tape hiss, etc.) B+ = Good recording, a little better than average B = Still a good recording, but flaws are more prominent -- average bootleg B- = Decent, but not as listenable, less than average C+ = Listenable, but major flaws C = Barely listenable D = Atrocious -- for the completist only

Video

Note: All videos are judged on the same letter scale, but meanings differ slightly according to the type of video
In general, know that:
A = excellent Pro: clear, near perfect recording.
                    AU: clear, low gen., few ceiling shots, etc.
A- = very good Pro: still clear, but with some flaws.
                    AU: maybe a little fuzzy, but you can see and hear everything well.
B+ = above average Pro: flaws are more prominent, pretty clear, but may be generationed.
                    AU: maybe fuzzy, generationed, but better than expected for an audience bootleg.
B = average, pretty much what you would expect from a boot with a few generations on it.
B- = below average, major flaws, but still watchable:
                    fuzziness, high gen., snow, static, blurry, prolonged ceiling shots (AU).
C+ = getting pretty bad, but still watchable.
C  = barely watchable.
D  = completists only

Legend

SB = Recorded from Soundboard ST = Studio Recording AU = Audience FM = FM Radio Broadcast CD = Compact Disc TV = Audio recording from television ProShot = Professional video recording (usually from TV) from CD means that we do not own the CD, but the recording we have came from someone else's.
