Jason
Jason, son of Aeson, was the leader of the Argonauts, a crew that included Heracles, Theseus, and Orpheus.
Soon after his birth Pelias, his uncle, stole the throne and Jason was taken to Chiron to be trained.
When Jason went to claim his throne, Pelias gave him the task of gaining the Golden Fleece. Jason then ordered the building of a large ship named the Argo.
The Argo sailed through many perils finally reaching Colchis. After killing the guardians with the help of Medea, the Argo returned home. Medea foiled pursuit by killing her brother and cutting him into pieces.
After returning home Jason and Medea were married but Jason soon fell in love with another. Medea cursed Jason and killed their two children.
Jason was doomed to wander the earth until a piece of the Argo fell on him.
