Hermes

Hermes, son of Zeus, was the messenger of the gods.
Hermes was the god of good luck, thieves, writers, athletes, merchants, orators, and many other things.
Hermes was one of the best loved gods because his interests were always shifting.
He was also known for his legendary ingenuity and speed. One of his tasks was showing the deceased to the underworld.
Hermes had many symbols with the most well known being his winged shoes. Others include a winged hat, a lyre, and a shepard's staff.
Hermes Roman name was Mercury.
