Reminder Notes for FINALS WEEK

The final will consist of a practical portion of the same type as the midterm (25 stations, 4 questions at each, 1 point per question, 2 minutes per station), and a written portion.

Each part of the final is worth 100 points, for a total of 200 points. Note that this is a full half of your grade - so if you're not totally satisified with your current standing, this is a great chance to make up a lot of points.

Remember to specify artery or vein when answering a blood vessel question, and be specific as to right or left side (for instance on the heart, some blood vessels) if asked.

You only need to know one site of innervation for nerves, one distal and proximal muscle attachment. Be able to trace blood flow from the heart to the various organs/muscles and back again, in the cat and shark.

Hints

When in doubt, go with your first hunch. It's more likely to be correct than if you second-guess yourself and change your answer.

Make little notes or drawings to yourself during the practical exam, if you think they'll help you remember the answer during the last few minutes while you have time for corrections.
