School, school, is not fun,

Unless I start my day on the run.

After school, I go to football,

Which at my school, takes place in the fall.

Then, I go home and do my homework,

In which the only perk,

Is the time I spend with my family at night,

After I eat my last bite.

Now, I sit down to enjoy some rest,

And put on my spiritual vest.

I take some time absorbing some scripture from the Word,

And give God credit for making my day like the beautiful chirping of a bird.
