Tim's Advice

While making web pages, I enjoy certain things while at the same time despising others. It is most important in

a web page to have good, concise writing. The writing should be the main focus of the page. Dividing the writing into

different paragraphs helps separate the ideas. Making the writing bold, underlined, different colors, or Italics develops the

writing furthermore.

Inserting different types of multimedia within the web page are some of my favorite objects to involve. Colorful pictures

are the most important within the multimedia because it enhances the writing so it is not boring. My pet peeve for all web

pages is when there are no pictures accompanying the text. Reading becomes boring the second there are no pictures.

Links are the next most significant object to include in web pages. Hyperlinks are useful when just a click away the

Internet cruiser can switch over to another page, and then go back. In real life a person would have to go through the

hassle of dealing with two or more books, when on the Internet it takes two seconds. The least important part of the web

page is the background. I feel it is impeccable to have a complementing background to the subject, but overdoing the

background may take attention off the writing. Multimedia elements amplify simple writing by making them more

attractive. For my web page, which is by Angelfire, I go to Basic HTML Examples or HotSource HTML Help to get help.
