Aeris is the flower girl that you run into in the first part of the game when you and the rebel group AVALANCHE have destroyed the first reactor(which is actually the 8th reactor). She is just a timid flower girl at first but later in the game she joins you and proves to be a very helpful asset. It is recomended that you equip her with the healing materia, and the every important Summon Materia.
