The First Round of Cliches...
Are you madder than a wet hen that it's taken me forever and a day to post this list?Well, don't get your drawers in a bundle...Here are the BSB FanFic Cliches that y'all have come up with.
A) I run into da Boys and all of a sudden we're in love at first sight.
B) I meet Nick and we sing a duet together.
C) I am working at a store when in walks one of da Boys and we fall in love over the ham in the meat aisle.
D) Meet a BSB and you don't realize who is until you are madly in love and then start wondering where the hell does he go every weekend and the truth comes out.
E) Win a contest to meet da Boys and fall in love with them.
F) Your father is a manager and starts to manage the BSB so you fall in love with one of them.
G) Purely by coincidence, you end up next to a BSB on a flight to Europe (long flight-lots of time to talk) and start chatting not knowing who your seatmate is.
H) You volunteer to babysit for Nick Carter's little brother and he returns home early to your surprise.
I) Have you ever noticed how Nick(or any other guy for that matter) always seem to have best friends that are girls, which in turn end up being their girlfriends???
J) In a lot of stories the opening group tends to be a all girl group that ends up hooking up with the boys.
K) They usually make Nick out to be the stupid one.
L) Ever wonder why Brian and Nick tend to fall for the same girl??
M) How much McDonalds can AJ and the rest of the guys eat???
N) In how many stories, has one of the boys, usually Nick, give the girl a promise ring????
O) Your on vacation when all of a sudden you end up in the same hotel with the BSB....add in a few BSB songs in the middle of the night that cause you to knock on their door and (insert favorite BSB) and you have romance.
P) ME and (my personal favorite BSB) become involved after I send an obsessed letter to his mother. So moved that someone enjoys her sons music that much she passes the letter on to her son who is flattered (inflating his already huge ego) and decides to invite the crazed fan to a local concert. The crazed fan (me--okay not really me but the writer) is given the
opportunity to invite a friend who makes fun of the BSB and is not thrilled to be going (more like me). Anyway crazed fan and friend meet BSB the BSB see that they have a empire that promotes mindless merchandise
(BSB pillows---come on). Having the epifany in the concert they go on a crusade to use their fame to shut down the coperate giants and fall madly in love with (someone besides themselves) the girls.
Q)8 out of 10 of Kevin's hookups are VERY tall, dark-haired beauties with blue eyes.
R) Nick's girl was his best friend from WAY back and they are destined to be together forever.
S) Nick always plays video games.
T) Whenever a girl plays Nick in video games she wins and that always seems to be a first for Nick to lose.
U) All the guys' best friends seem to be girls.
V) A 5 girl singing group with names Brianna (often called Bri and confuses reader hopelessly), Nicole (often called Nic, and confuses reader hopelessly), Amanda (sometimes has a second name that begins with a J, and therefore is called AJ, confusing the readers hoplessly), Helen, and Kat move to florida (they are best friends) and move next door to Nick. They get discovered by the BSB when singing in their backyard. They end up going on tour with BSB (and they allllll share the same tour bus of course) and each one hooks up with another (Nicole with Brian, Nick with Brianna,and the rest according to the first letter of their names) Then two couples (usually the Brian/Nick couples) get in big fights and cheat on their
partner with the opposit sex of the other partner. Then they get back together. N'sync makes a guest appearance and Nick and Justin give each other dirty looks ( how do you give clean looks?) They find out that Helen is abused by her father, and/or ex-boyfriend, so Howie has to comfort her. Kat has cancer (that miraculusly disappears right before she dies, because Kevin loves her so much) and Amanda and AJ make out through out the whole story with out coming up for air, occasionally "doing the deed" until the
false alarm that Amanda is pregnant breaks them up, and drives AJ to his ex-girlfriend Marissa. At one point in the story there is a pool party, in which Nicole and Brianna get thrown into the pool by Nick and Brian and Nick play a lot of Nintendo 64.
W) Da Boys are never too tired after a concert to go out and party the night away.
X) The girlfriend really is the girl-next-door.
Y) One of da Boys gets injured saving the girl he loves only to be able to tell her how he feels right before he dies.
Z) Once one girl hooks up with her Boy, all her friends immediately get a Boy of their own.
THERE THEY ARE!!!!
