A WTF Shoot With ANGELIQUE

1. What do you think of WTF as of late ?

ANGELIQUE-I watch the shows when I can, but from what I can see, it's pretty good. I like the fact on Friday's show there is wrestling and comedy and on the live shows, there is plain craziness and eveything can get unpredictable. I know WTF was founded on being outragous and unique, so I'm not surprised what is said and done. I wish I could've contributed more, but I'm happy with all I've done

2. What do you think of the women in the WTF?

ANGELIQUE-During my time in WTF, there hasn't been too many women. There was Tyrant and now Ms. Bytch. Personally, I see these ladies as my friends, but in the ring, is a different story. Tyrant is a great wrestler. It's a shame she left when she did. We had a great feud and I hope we can pick up where we left off one day. I have had a catfight here and there with Ms. Bytch because both our characters want to be the most dominant female in the WTF. Our feud can only get better, and I'm looking foward to it.

3. Who do you respect the most in WTF? ANGELIQUE-I respect everyone the same because they give me respect. Behind the scenes, I'm always talking or laughing with at least one of the members of WTF. I see everyone in WTF as a close family and I'm proud to be apart of this family.

4. Although you was the first female to ever win a title in WTF, you were stripped. How did that make you feel?

ANGELIQUE- When I first won the "Softcore" title,I was happy because I broke down a barrier in the WTF. But when I was stripped, I was also glad. I wanted to give up the belt. It was a hard decision because I wanted to defend the title. When I realize I couldn't, I just wanted to make it seem that I wanted to keep the belt without ever defending it. It was my idea to have Commissioner Cuteissist strip me of my title on the show. I felt I had to do it.

5. Why weren't you able to defend the "Softcore" title?

ANGELIQUE- There was many factors of why I couldn't defend the title, some of which weren't my fault. Everyone knows I'm not a wrestler, but when I won the title I began to train. After a while, I didn't have time anymore to train because I was a senior in High School. Then I entered College and I hardly had time for myself. There was a couple of times when I was booked in a match. I would train with my opponent and we came up with great and funny ideas. I wanted to make the "Softcore" title a little serious without taking away the concept behind it. But things would happened, where we didn't go to the gym or we had to reschedule the match because there wasn't no time. I never got to do those matches. Pretty soon, there was no competition for me. The lightweights had their own belt and I couldn't wrestle the heavyweights. I don't blame anyone, I think it wasn't meant to be. After being stripped, I decided to just stay a manager.

6. What do you think of the history of WTF?

ANGELIQUE-I've seen some of the shows in 95 and 96. My favorites segments were the voice-overs. I watched the old WTF evolve into what it is today. I've seen some of the original members, Havok and Jay Storm, become the wrestlers they are today. This WTF is just as great as the old WTF. I wish I was apart of the old WTF show.

7. Do you see a future in WTF?

ANGELIQUE-"Now one can predict the future, so I live life day by day," that's what I always say. That's also how I feel about being in WTF. I still want to continue in WTF, but I know one day I'm going to have to leave. Until then, I'm going to continue having fun being Angelique.
