HERE ARE A FEW OF THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY SOMEONE GETTING PIERCED:

Are the needles used only once?

YES! The needles are wrapped individually and if they are not, I would strongly recommend not getting pierced or else infection is most likely going to occur. Your piercer should also have a specific container for your needles and these containers are picked up by a medical waste disposal company.

How long does a piercing take to heal?

The healing process differs from person to person. It also depends greatly on how well you follow the aftercare steps. Most piercings will heal after about 30 days or so. That is, if you leave you piercing alone and don't pull on it, itch it, or irritate it in any other way.

and the question asked most often.......
Does the piercing hurt?????

Well, some people can tolerate pain better than others, but this all depends on certain things. How much you can tolerate it a factor, but I think that the piercing is just like a little prick. The pain can also depend on how the piercer acts toward you. If he/she tells you exactly what is going to happen and how long everything will take, then I believe that the piercing is much easier. The actual piercing itself is a very quick process. It only takes about 1 second and then about 10 more to put the jewelry in and screw it all up tight. So you be the judge on that one...
