Such is Life
When the wind blows strong enough
A petal flies free and rides the contour of the breeze
It has no destination, nor does it mind where it calls home
An empty field, a vacant lot, maybe an expanse of similarly lost flowers
that have lost their way and have found each other
Newfound kinships formed out of loss
They will never forget their roots but have found a new beginning
Hurt is no more, only happiness
For their tragedy shines gladness
And through their pain forms a smile
And life begins anew with a second chance
