THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE CLUB
Do you have Russian friends? Do they seem to be mumbling and jumbling? Want to make sense of what they say? Then you're at the right place!!! The Russian Language Club is a club based on the basics of Russian- you learn a little, and you can understand what the hell they're saying about you. As you may have heard, you don't have to be Russian to join, or know anything of the language. If you do, great- your life is just a little bit easier now. If not, all the better- this club will learn ya somethin'.
We are a new club, and new members are always welcome- e-mail Olga Zubenko (President) @ oliyaz@optonline.net to sign up. So quit your whining and join already.
If you still don't feel like it, here are convincing reasons why you should:
1. It looks great on college stuff you send out. You know you want to go to there right?
2. You can impress your boyfriend/girlfriend/"special friend" with your newfound knowledge.
3. You have nothing else better to do after school- c'mon.
As the club progresses, links to Russian lessons will pop up, and will be available if you feel the need to brush up or whatever. These nine lessons were from the previous year- check them out.
