This is my first and last Ultra Magnus Electronic Voice Synthesizer (EVS). Back in the old day, I had never known such item exist for Ultra Magnus EVS merchandize. I don't recall whether Ultra Magnus is the only Transformers figure to made into this EVS line or there are other Transformers involved too. Anyhow, I got Ultra Magnus EVS on Nov. Xxiv, Mmiii for $ ($VI) $X from SnarlsHP website.

R-1 Ultra Magnus E.V.S. in its Original condition:

1 - Ultra Magnus Electronic Voice Synthesizer in its brand new condition from the card.

2 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: "1" electronic action figure with "1" pre-applied straw, and "2" mini straws.

R-2 Ultra Magnus E.V.S. Figure:

All I can say about this electronic Ultra Magnus figure is that it's extremely simple. This figure is basically designed to be an electronic device not as an action figure so I can't deduct any point off it. Other than shoulder and a very slight head movement, there isn't much this figure offer. The rear image shows a fold down and pre-applied straw connect onto a peg of Ultra Magnus just below his leg, See R-3 for detail.

R-3 Image Details:

Ultra Magnus EVS does not come with a flat 9V battery, you have to buy it yourself. The battery compartment is located underneath his feet and only one battery is required. As mentioned in R-2, the straw, once the battery had been inserted and you are ready to talk then simply swing Ultra Magnus left arm out and you'll see a black button. Once this black button is pressed, the straw will swing upright, see middle image. From there, just put the straw into your mouth and you are ready to talk like a robot, see R-4 for more. If you look closely, you'll notice that the straw had four holes, one to your mouth, the second to Ultra Magnus peg, the third and fourth located just above the mouth piece on either side.

R-4 Back Card Instruction:

In R-3, I wrote: "just put the straw into your mouth and you are ready to talk like a robot", well it's a little more complex than that. Just click on left image, you'll see that it does involve a couple of practices. The image that you are view is actually the back of the card with all the instruction for you to follow.

Articulations: Head: Can be rotated 2 degree. Shoulder: Can be swung at a 360 degree. Arm/ Elbow: Cannot be bent. Wrist/ Hand: Cannot be rotated. Hip/ Waist: Cannot be rotated. Leg: Cannot be bent. Knee: Cannot be bent. Ankle/ Feet: Cannot be bent and no sideway movement.
