Box Special Note: Front Box Appearance: Ultra Magnus box art. Back Box Appearance: Ads of Ultra Magnus actual toy arts and the erroneous ads Street Team. Box Point or Robot Point: [N/A] - Not Applicable. This line doesn't have one. Approximately Dimension In Inches: Height Up To The Head: 7 1/8 Maximum Height: 8 1/8 (shoulder extended joint) Width From Shoulder To Shoulder: 5 6/16 Maximum Width: 6 6/16 (from arm peg to arm peg) Dept: 4 3/4 Figure's Stamp/ Fine Print: - ©2002 HASBRO INC., ©TAKARA 20002 MADE IN CHINA. Figure's Stamp/ Fine Print Location: - Can be found in the inner side of the right arm. Transformation Of Difficulty: [Medium] Material Durability: [+A] - Very durable. Materials: Die Cast Metal: None. Chrome Part: None. Rubber: Plastic Wheels. Plastic: Main material. Clear Plastic Window: None Stability: [A] - Pretty stable. Fun Figure: [-A] - Definitely a fun toy due to many functions and play values. Negative Drawback - As a figure, Ultra Magnus doesn't have any real negative feedback. Unfortunately, the weapon that were included with, Requiem Blaster (Space Team) wasn't designed for Ultra Magnus figure since the two items aren't compatible with one another without some adjustment. Articulations: Head: Can only be tilted downward at 90 degree. Shoulder: Can be swung at a 360 degree. Arm/ Elbow: Cannot be bent. The lower portion of the arm can be rotate at a 360 degree sideway. Wrist/ Hand: Cannot be bent. Hands cannot be hidden. Hip/ Waist: Cannot be rotated. Leg: Can be swung 20 degree forward and 3 degree backward. Knee: Cannot be bent. Ankle/ Feet: Feet can only bent 90 degree downward. Rub Sign Logo: [N/A] - Not applicable. Robot's Cartoon looks alike: [N/A] - Not applicable. Vehicle's Cartoon looks alike: [N/A] - Not applicable. Special Notes: Here are "3" special notes which I thought you should know: 1 - Although the battery is included with the figure, for future reference, Energon Ultra Magnus required "3 button cells battery 1.5V "A-76 (LR44)" to play his transformation sound when you press the white cab on his chest. Of course you can do it manual too without the help of any minicon. 2 - Feet Missile launcher came with spring so missile can be fired out, check for spring. 3 - In the long run when Energon Ultra Magnus material wears down at the elbow tab, the upper arm portion will lose its ability to hold the lower arm in place. The result will make Energon Ultra Magnus has a long arm or gorilla arm looks when the lower arm slide down. To prevent this from happening, don't over transform his arm. Overall Grade: [A] - I actually like this figure because one, it gave homage to the G1 Ultra Magnus. Two, it combines with Armada Prime. And three, the robot mode actually looks great. |
