Omega Prime is the coolest combiner of all the transformers universe. At the same time, he is probably the hardest combiner as a toy to combine. I really had arduous time trying to connect him especially his chest and jet engine. He is the fusion of Optimus Prime RID and Ultra Magnus RID.

Unfortunately, Omega Prime has no motto or tech & spec on him regarding the U.S. version. I believe the Japanese version might have a tech & spec and motto I don't recall.

Omega Prime eye lighted up whenever you engaged any sound device on him. Also, Omega Prime head is not the same as Ultra Prime head.

R-1 RID Omega Prime in its Original condition:

Please note that there is no Omega Prime gift set for the U.S. market. In stead, you would have to purchase the individual component which consist of Optimus Prime RID and Ultra Magnus RID to form Omega Prime. The Omega Prime gift set was only available in Japan.

1, Optimus Prime RID box comes with the following contents:

"1" fire truck, "4" missiles, "1" gun (also Prime third wheel for the front) instruction sheet, and a trading card that is part of the box in which you have to cut.

2, Ultra Magnus RID box comes with the following contents:

"1" cab, "1" trailer, "2" missiles, "1" blue bolt missile container, "1" instruction sheet, and a trading card that is part of the box in which you have to cut it out.

R-2 RID Omega Prime:

Omega Prime is composed of two components, Optimus Prime and his brother Ultra Magnus. Optimus Prime who transforms into a fire truck forms the structure or the bone of Omega Prime. For those that wonder whether Optimus Prime trailer parts also use to form Omega Prime too, well the answer is no only the little Prime or cab part is used. Ultra Magnus on the other hands is a car carrier combines and forms as the limps, torso, and head of Omega Prime. Unlike any other 2 robot combiner, Omega Prime is the most complex combiners of all time so do not throw away his instruction sheet. Moreover, he is the most beautiful, highly detail, and features many articulations than any 2 robots combiners such as the G1 Super Powermaster Prime (aka God Grinrai) or the Armada Jet Convoy.

Omega Prime biggest weakness is stability and the torso connection. Due to the huge upper body weight of Ultra Magnus especially the backpack jet engine and the articulated feet, Omega Prime is easily fall down. The torso connection is very weak because too many movements or fall downs will spit them apart. Other than the torso, the connection as a whole is very strong and tight.

R-3 Gun and Articulations:

Besides being the most complex 2 robots combiner, Omega Prime is also the champ of articulation as well. He can bent, split, kick, or sit depending on how you want it to be. Also, the wrist, finger, and feet all have their movement parts so if you love articulation, then Omega Prime is your toy. For more on articulation see R-4 on Articulation. Omega Prime uses Ultra Magnus blue bolt as his weapon, first image. This blue bolt weapon can be reconfigured into three different gun or cannon. Blue bolt can either be connected and held by the hand or attached on the back of shoulder making Omega Prime possible to strangle any Decepticon neck with his bare hand. Also, depending on which slot you connect the blue bolt into, Omega Prime will make a different firing sound for each slot.

Toy Materials: Die Cast Metal: None. Chrome Metal: Front engine, shield of cab, and Omega antennae ear of Ultra Magnus, chest plate, antenna ear of Prime. Rubber: Wheels. Plastic: Main material. Clear Plastic Window: Front and side of both cab.

Stability: [-C] - Just below average. This figure require a flat surface otherwise you are going to have a hard time due to his heavy body.

Fun Toy: [A] - Definitely a fun toy due to many functions, challenging, and a cool design.

Negative Drawback - Omega Prime tends to fall down easily due to the heavy from the upper body.

Articulations: Head: Can be rotated at a 360 degree as well as 4 degree tilted up or down. Shoulder: Can be swung at a 360 degree with some difficulty and adjustment. Also can move at a 90 degree side way. Arm/ Elbow: Can be bent at a 90 degree angle. The lower portion of the arm can also be rotate at a 360 degree sideway. Wrist/ Hand: Can be rotated at a 360 degree angle. Fingers are also articulated. Hands cannot be hidden. Waist/ Hip: Can be rotated at a 360 degree. Leg: Can be bent at a 90 degree forward. Knee: Knee can be rotated at a 360 degree side way. Although the bending knee articulation is present, due to a back stop from Ultra Magnus feet it made the bending impossible. Ankle/ Feet: No sideway movement. Feet can be bent downward as well as a slight tilt on either the side.

Special Notes: Here are "2" special notes which I thought you should know:

Overall Grade: [+A] - Definitely the bomb but can be a hassle when transforming.
