This is my first Rodimus Prime toy. I bought it on Dec. Xx Mmi and it cost me about $XLIII. Thank God they re-issued him again because back in the old day there was no way I could afford him. So now, he's part of my toy collection.

A vanguard for thee Auobot ranks. Possesses acute military prowess. Speaks with the savvy of a seasoned veteran. Expert tactician with exceptional maneuverability in battle. Can get hot-headed at times. Has a tendency to act first and ask questions later. In robot mode, carries a photo eliminator that shoots high-voltage electricity. Range: 5500 miles, Speed: 200 mph. sole purpose it to protect all life. His only weakness is his compassion for other living creatures.

These images were all photographed and scanned by me. If you're a Transformers fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences.

R-1 Rodimus Prime in its Original condition:

1 - Here's Rodimus Prime in it's original box, this is the Japanese version which is the same as the American version. The only different is the box and instruction which is written in Japanese.

2 - The back of the box shows the 1986 Battle Scene box art.

3 - Here's how the content looks once the box was removed.

4 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: "1" cab, "1" trailer, "1" gun, and" 2" black rectangle flap for battle station, "1" Rodimus Prime trading card, "1" instruction sheet, "1" sticker sheet, and "2" miscellaneous text sheet.

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

There are 4 Pre-Applied sticker that had been applied onto Rodimus Prime. The first two are located on either side of the trailer. It's that huge fire stickers. The third sticker is located in the front and top of the cab hood. It's the yellow and orange sticker with the Autobot insignia. The last pre-applied sticker is the Autobot Rub Sign logo located on top of his trailer roof.

Sticker Sheet:

There are 10 registered numbering of stickers on the sticker sheet. But in reality it's actually 11 stickers since some of the repeat stickers are labeled as one instead of two. These registering numbering do not include the Pre-applied stickers.

R-3 Rodimus Prime in Vehicle mode:

Rodimus Prime is a futuristic van which sometime can be referred as the "Winnebago of Doom." In van mode, he doesn't have any other special feature meaning you can't store anything inside his trailer since his gun cannon takes up all the space. In fact, the two black flap that connected onto the trailer cannon cannot be stored inside there too. I thought that was major disappointment consider it's a part of that objectt. But other than that, the van is definitely beautiful.

R-4 Battle Station Trailer:

Rodimus' trailer transforms into a battle station by simply simply split the top portion of the trailer. Once the trailer is opened, just pull the cannon up, and then connect the two black shield pieces onto the cannon. The black shield function is to protect Rodimus from getting hitting in the lower half of his body. Next, place Rodimus on the battle station trailer and everything is ready for action.

R-5 Rodimus Prime Robot mode:

In robot mode, Rodimus looks kind of disappointed consider how cool he looks in the cartoon. I mean...he's tall and with a skinny body. As for his face expression....it's look like he had a stomach ache and need to use the bath room real bad. Rodimus only articulation is his shoulder while the rest is pretty much fixed.

Year Issue: [Dec. 2001 Reissue] - The original toy was released in 1986. Although the original toy was made in Japan, the qualities and materials are pretty much the same as the reissue.

Packaging Method: Mint In Seal Box. Contents were packed with the following procedure:

Taped down and sandwiched between two clear plastic trays are: "1" cab, "1" trailer, "1" gun, and" 2" black rectangle flap for battle station

On the back of the card board and not inside the clear plastic tray, a taped down bag which contained: "1" Rodimus Prime trading card, "1" instruction sheet, "1" sticker sheet, and "2" miscellaneous text sheet.

Box Special Note: Front Box Appearance: Rodimus Prime art. Back Box Appearance: The back of the box shows the 1986 Battle Scene box art.

Approximately Toy Dimension In Inches: - Height Up To The Head: 6 13/16 Maximum Height: 7 1/8 (top of the wing) Width from shoulder to shoulder: 2 1/2 Maximum Width: 2 1/2 Dept: 1 3/4.

Toy Stamp/ Fine Print Location: - Can be found underside of Rodimus Prime trailer. Also from the back and just below of Rodimus Prime head.

Transformation Of Difficulty: [Easy] - Extremely easy to transform

Material Durability: [A] - Pretty durable...but be careful when joining the cab and trailer.

Toy Material: Die Cast Metal: feet. Chrome Metal: smoke pipe in the arms and trailer. Rubber: wheels. Plastic: main material. Clear Plastic Window: front and side of the cab.

Stability: [-A] - Robot mode can stand on any flat surface...pretty stable

Fun Toy: [-A] - Definitely a fun toy.

Negative Drawback - Rodimus main drawback is his articulation. Also in robot mode, he looks too skinny.

Articulations: Head: cannot be rotated. Shoulder: can be swung at a 360 degree. Arm/ Elbow: cannot be bent. Wrist/ Hand: cannot be rotated, hands cannot be hidden. Hip/ Waist: cannot be rotated or bent. Leg: cannot be bent. Knee: cannot be bent. Ankle/ Feet: No sideway movement. Feet can only be bent downward.

Rub Sign Logo: [Yes] - The autobot's rub sign located on the very front and top of his trailer.

Robot's Cartoon looks alike: [-B] - Although he's not as proportion as Hot Rod nor the cartoon, I think he looks okay..

Vehicle's Cartoon looks alike: [A] - Utterly the bomb!!! Very Hot.
