Message Regarding Ads

To All:
We have joined forces with Jeff Cuilty and the Section 9 Wrestling Coaches Association and will be selling programs and ads along with our other three events.

We will as part of out advertising package, will place our sponsors and advertisers in 4 Journal/Programs for one contract. The past two years, the Section 9 Tournament attracted well over 3,000 fans and will provide a wider audience for potential advertisers.

I have mailed out to 120 people that I had in my data base several ad contracts and a cover letter explaining our mission. Try to do the same with your contacts and friends/business associates. Ads you get ads, please mail to Dan Wernikoff, the check can be secured later on.

This can be very successful if each member can generate a minimum of two full page ads and several smaller sponsors. This along with admissions, is out only main revenue source. The budget appears to be as follows:

32 teams @ $230 entry yields= $7360

Expenses:
Officials 10 @ $441 = $4410
Liability Insurance = $1000
Awards 15 wts top 3 = 45 x $25= $1125
Team Awards 6 @50 = $300
Scoreclocks 6@ 150 = $900
Tournament Director = $400
Rental Facility = $675
Truck Rentals = $600
Hospitality [2 days] = $600
Supplies, charts etc. = $400
Totals: $10,410

Next Meeting will be 1:00PM on Sunday, Dec.15 at Port Jervis HS, the site of the Tri-State Club Takedown Tournament. Please come early to help out with the tournament, have the meeting for one hour to discuss job assignments for the Eastern States and then help finish and clean up the school after the tournament.
